This hotel is nestled in a great location, with many attractions within walking distance. You can easily explore the east and west banks through their affordable and well, guided tours. the rooftop restaurant offers delicious food and a stunning view of the city. the friendly staff and budget, friendly prices make it a great choice for a comfortable stay.
There was one staff member who lacked respect towards solo women travelers. Their behavior towards women was not acceptable and could be off, putting for some guests.

I had a wonderful stay at Happy Land in downtown Luxor. The hotel had clean rooms, comfortable mattresses, and a lovely rooftop terrace. Mahmoud, the owner, made me feel like a welcome friend and Mohammed at the front desk was always quick to assist. The complimentary pickup from the Luxor station was a nice touch. Despite the hustle and bustle of Luxor, Happy Land provided a peaceful escape in the heart of it all.

Friendly staff, helpful owner. English spoken. Organized reasonably priced trips to Valley of the Kings, Hatchepsut Temple, Karmak, and Luxor Temple. Tasty breakfast, good rooftop terrace for relaxing. Carpet on stairs after a slip in the evening. Nice rooftop breakfast , 2-minute walk to the Nile. They arranged a great West Bank tour. Tricky to find but became easier with directions. Fantastic breakfast buffet with various drinks, Egyptian breads, fruit, and omelettes. Sociable rooftop restaurant/bar. No pressure to book tours, staff went out of their way to help. Amazing owner, patient and helpful, able to assist with organizing various activities.
